Health From Within has been serving The Midwest for nearly 5 years. Health From Within was founded by Dr. Ashly Ochsner for the sole purpose of educating and leading individuals and families in how to live an optimally healthy life by fully expressing their God-given potential.

At Health From Within our purpose is to educate and adjust as many families as possible towards optimal health using safe, natural and effective chiropractic care based on love, service, and compassion.

We believe in offering affordable chiropractic care to everyone who seeks it. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to experience optimal health through an optimal functioning spine and nervous system free of subluxation (nerve interference) and its devastating effects.

As of Friday, April 23, 2010, Drs. Patrick & Jacqueline Newhouse have chosen to change paths and pursue other interests. We wish them well in all their endeavors and they will be missed. With this change, our goal at Health From Within is to make sure that your care goes unaffected, and actually GETS EVEN BETTER.

Meet Our Doctors

Dr. Matthew Spangler

We are excited for you to meet our Interim Doctor, Matthew Spangler, B.S., D.C. Dr. Spangler graduated from Southern IL University Carbondale with a Bachelor's of Science in Biology. Previously working in a hospital environment, he learned a very valuable lesson about the health of his community; most people were unsure how to build health in their bodies and how to truly prevent disease. After a suggestion from his Chiropractor and researching the science of chiropractic, Dr. Spangler had found his calling. Upon graduation from Palmer College of Chiropractic, Dr. Spangler has chosen Health from Within to be his place of continued learning and professional development. It is his pleasure to serve as Interim Doctor here at Health from Within of Moline as we search for the exact Doctor to fit the needs of you and Health From Within permanently.

Dr. Spangler (as well as our future permanent Moline Doctor) will be implementing the latest cutting edge corrective approaches for an extremely complete and thorough chiropractic care experience. Not only will they be focusing on the most important upper cervical spine, but your entire spine, body, and wellness. As we bring your care to new heights you may have questions. Emily and Dr. Spangler will no doubt address these and get you the answers.

Dr. Ashly Ochsner

Dr. Ochsner is the founder of Health From Within. A corrective and wellness based chiropractic center serving the sole purpose of educating and leading individuals and families in how to live an optimally healthy life by fully expressing their God-given potential. Dr. Ochsner, radio personality of "The Truth - The Ultimate Health Show," is also renowned speaker in his community, the State of Illinois, and throughout the chiropractic profession. Dr. Ochsner has spent and continues to spend countless hours and dollars on post-graduate education to maximize his knowledge and skills of chiropractic care, wellness education, and nutrition. He believes that God chose him to be a chiropractor and touch people's lives.

In addition, Dr. Ochsner was the official Chiropractor for the Rockford IceHogs of the United Hockey League while practicing in Rockford, IL. Dr. Ochsner is also a recent recipient of The Family Practice Excellence Award and a Founding Doctor of C.O.P.S. (Chiropractors On Purpose Serving), which is a Chicagoland group of Chiropractors now exceeding 40 members who are all dedicated to the advancement of pure chiropractic in the Chicagoland area.

Dr. Ochsner is an avid reader and loves sports and an active lifestyle. He lives in the Southwest suburbs of Chicago with his wife Rachelle, sons Ashton and Trevor, and their two cats, Mikhail and Rusty.
